Let's work together!
Thirty Prompts in Thirty Days
For those brave souls who take on the thirty poems in thirty days, I will be your accountability coach, and send you a prompt a day to help you over the speed bumps that often occur.
Individual Poem Critique
Line by line suggestions/feedback for up to five poems at a time.
Chapbook Manuscript Consultation
I'll give your manuscript a close reading, and offer feedback on your manuscript of 20-26 pages.
Poetry Submissions Mentoring
Submitting your work for others to accept or reject is not for the faint of heart. Confused about how to begin? What to put in your cover letter? Which poems to send, and to where?
I'll help you get your packets in ship shape, polish your cover letter, and get you on the road to publication.
Sarah Ann Winn
I'm the founder of Poet Camp, and I'm a practicing poet, teacher and free range librarian living in Northern Virginia. My first book, Alma Almanac, won the Barrow Street Book prize in 2017. I'm the author of five chapbooks, and have been published in Kenyon Review Online, Massachusetts Review and Tupelo Quarterly, and many other journals online and in print.
I started Poet Camp to help others in their poetry journeys, and to build community, and this has taken on a new and delightful form during the pandemic as Cozy Writing Retreats, offered online once a quarter. I hope you'll join us!
